Our client was indicted and charged with Murder, Assault and Wanton Endangerment for shooting a man who had assaulted him. Cox & Mazzoli filed a motion to dismiss the charges arguing self defense in addition to stand your ground defenses. The incident had been captured on surveillance video and our motion, coupled with the video, persuaded the court to dismiss all charges against our client.
