I was privileged to speak today to about 50 fourth & fifth graders at Hazelwood Elementary School on Bluegrass Avenue. Hazelwood had a career day for their students and they invited me to talk to the kids about being a lawyer. These children were super bright and asked great and funny questions. Their teachers told me that many of the students have never met a lawyer so I was excited to talk to them about my job. I wasn't sure when I was first asked to talk to them if I had the time, but it was so rewarding I hope they invite me back every year.
