I taught a Corporate Criminal Law class at the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law yesterday. The focus of my lecture was on how to represent a company when a federal criminal investigation is initiated. Many of the students in the seminar aspire to be in-house corporate attorneys. I gave them tips on when to retain federal criminal defense attorneys and how to deal with federal agents and federal prosecutors.
